Structural Bonding/Glazing and Sealant Application

The client requested on-site bonding works for large panels of glass to be bonded to the feature frameless glazed conference/meeting room.  Sika then carried out all the adhesion testing and structural calculations.  We were happy to confirm that these works could be carried out with our mobile bonding unit (together with all the audit requirements).  During these works we were also requested by the client to weatherseal the roof area glass facade with sealant joint sizes of 32mm.  We were then requested by the client to carry out some off-site bonding works at our factory for the unique glazed columns.  Again we were more than happy to confirm that these works could be carried out.  Materials used on this project were Sikasil SG500 and Sikasil 605.
