A Blinding Solution
When Thomas Sanderson Ltd approached us with the tricky problem of how to fix their blinds to a pane of glass, we looked at the solution with structural silicone.
Having been approached by many of their clients with the new contemporary frameless glass-box design and also wanting to have window blinds installed,Thomas Sanderson approached us to enquire if the structural silicone would support their window blind system. Having carried out the relevant adhesion testing with the structural silicone manufacturer, and then having gone through rigorous testing at Thomas Sanderson HQ, we were able to confirm that the answer was a positive one. As can be seen from the photographs the finished results are aesthetically impressive as well as being a practical solution.
If you have a problem where a mechanical fixing cannot be achieved, maybe structural silicone is the answer.
